EL PASO, Texas (AP) - A West Texas man has been accused of using a set of keys to scratch a side panel of a fire truck answering a medical call.

El Paso County Jail records show bond has been set at $1,500 for Robert Aguayo, 54. He's charged with criminal mischief causing damage of more than $1,500 but less than $20,000.

El Paso police said firefighters responded to a call Wednesday afternoon outside a retail store. Witnesses reported seeing a man walk to the side of the fire truck, take out a set of keys and scratch the emergency vehicle.

Online jail records Friday did not list an attorney for Aguayo, who was arrested at the scene.

Further details were not immediately available on the person requiring medical attention.
