BUFFALO, N.Y. (CW-23) - With the US Navy dropping anchor along the Buffalo waterfront this week, it's giving us Western New Yorkers an opportunity to take a step back in time! We're the last stop on the navy's tour honoring the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. One of the visitors is Rear Admiral Rebecca McCormick-Boyle, who grew up in Western New York and attended the SUNY Buffalo School of Nursing before beginning a successful career with the Navy. Admiral McCormick-Boyle stopped by Winging It to explain more about her work as the Chief of Staff of the Navy's Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.
