BUFFALO, NY (CW23) - The Veggie Bliss
Ingredients:
whole grain roll
lettuce
red onion
tomato
portabella mushroom cap
roasted red pepper
provolone cheese
basil aioli
Directions:
For aioli- Mix mayo, basil, and lemon juice in a bowl and chill
Remove stem from portabella mushroom wipe clean with damp towel
Sautee mushroom cap gill side down for 2-3 mins
Flip over and same for other side and add roasted red pepper to the pan
Assemble place the roasted red pepper on top of mushroom and add slice of provolone cheese and cover till melted
Grill multigrain roll till toasted
Spread 1 tsp of basil aioli on bun then lettuce, mushroom, red onion, and slice of tomato
