BUFFALO, NY (CW23) - Nothing says summer like a trip to the beach, that's exactly way we sought out to see what some of Western New York’s beaches offer. Each beach offers something a little different; we broke it down so you know exactly where to go for your specific needs.

If you're looking for a picnic get away and don't mind a crowd check out Beaver Island State Park For those college students looking for a party, or families looking for a beach full of Amenities Sunset Beach is your destination. However being one of Western New York’s favorite summer location, expect cover charges and crowds. Completely opposite to Sunset Beach is Wednt, almost never crowded and a little secluded, Wednt Beach is the perfect place for a romantic evening or a relaxing family get-away. Bennett Beach, is one of the area's best beaches if your looking to swim. Its also a great beach for the younger crowd that wants to steer away from the crowds and college party atmosphere of Sunset beach. And if you want a bit of everything head to Woodlawn Beach.

What ever beach you choose to go to, make sure you follow park rules, stay hydrated and bring lots of water to drink.
