My Fitness Pal: When you sign up, you answer a few simple health questions and set your own goals, then it helps you stay on top of them! For example, if you'd like to lose one pound a week, My Fitness Pal tracks your calorie intake and exercise to help you reach your goal.
Pret-a-Yoga: This app is basically a yoga class in the palm of your hand. It walks you through each posture with both diagrams and descriptions. Perfect for beginners, advanced practitioners, and everything in between!
Gym Goal (Free version: Gym ABC): This app is like a glossary of exercises. You open it up, go to the "Body Map," select the part of your body you want to work on (such as biceps), then pick an exercise, and it explains it to you along with a Youtube demonstration.
