BUFFALO, NY (CW23) - Dipping Chocolate
Ingredients:
high quality chocolate - cocoa butter must be listed in ingredients
pretzels
oreos
strawberries (washed)
toppings of your choice
Directions:
Melt chocolate in a double boiler or over a pot of water with a stainless bowl taking care the water is just simmering not boiling. Constantly stir the chocolate until melted. Remove the chocolate bowl from the stove. The chocolate should be near 108 degrees. Mix in about 1 cup cold shaved chocolate to “temper” or bring down the temperature of the chocolate to about 86 degrees. Chocolate is now ready to be used.
